Steve Kravetz is a 70 plus-year-old award-winning storyteller from Rockwall Texas. His oral storytelling talent was used to entertain his clients and family for years. In 1993 he sent his first written story in and entered into the State Fair of Texas- Liars/Tall Tales contest-winning first place. His first novel started out as just an idea, in 1983. Though it was not until an accident in 2010 that gave him downtime to put the first words to paper. Then it was not until 2017 that his historical fiction of the 1960s, A Marijuana Man was released. His second literary fiction The Bastardo, the story of 1850's Sicily and how a perfect storm created the Mafia, was released in 2021. His writing style reminds us of James Michener and James Clavell. The ability to make you feel you are back in time, of the story.
